Creativity could be doing something controversial and posting it to your website for everybody to see. People in general love controversies, you see it everyday in newspapers, magazines, TV shows and even your neighbors. People just can't get enough of it, and that is why God created celebrities and politicians so people can talk about them. And the more people talk about their nitty-gritty controversial issues the more popular they get.



So how can you actually incorporate that to your website, simple just do something controversial. Controversial doings can be a lot of things, for example, how you managed to date two girls or boys at the same time without being caught. More controversial if you were actually caught and you lived to tell the world about it. It is guaranteed that you will have lots of angry and amused visitors, or you might even get yourselves fans who will actually idolize what you did, and may even ask advice on how you did it. Remember, good or bad publicity is still publicity, and in the World Wide Web it simply translates to more traffic to your website.

Wait! Before you scramble and do something on your website. You have to think about what you are going to do, and ask yourself if you are prepared to do it and if it serves its purpose.



There is a huge gap in difference between doing something controversial and doing something stupid. Doing something stupid will definitely drive more traffic to your website, but to be remembered for your stupidity should make you think twice about it.



The objective of using this technique is not only to drive traffic to your website. Your ultimate purpose is to get new links, new subscribers, and new customers. If done in the worst way, it might just backfire on you.
